Katherine is the Chief Compliance Officer for Agriculture Capital. Katherine has over 20 years of experience in financial service-related companies. Most recently Katherine helped manage the Financial Services Regulatory Compliance group at Moss Adams LLP. There she spent 13 years dedicated to working with Financial Service companies through PCAOB audits, reviews, compliance and internal audit reviews and assessments. Prior to joining Moss Adams in 2005, she spent over 10 years in the banking industry, primarily in the accounting department and responsible for completion of various SEC filings.
Katherine is a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Hood River Valley and has been around farming her entire life. Katherine is excited to join a company with a focus on sustainability and making the world a better place for everyone. Katherine is a firm believer in community outreach and currently serves on the Board of Directors for two nonprofits in the role of Treasurer, ALS Association Oregon and SW Washington Chapter and her children’s school PTA. She also serves as an Audit Committee Member for the Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington. Additionally, Katherine volunteers many hours as a reading buddy, a classroom volunteer, and working on initiatives at her children’s school to reduce waste.
Katherine received a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University in Finance and Management in 1999, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2004. In her free time, Katherine enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and kids at home and traveling.
