Jacob is an Associate at Agriculture Capital, focused on financial and strategic analysis for agricultural and related downstream assets and opportunities.
Prior to joining Agriculture Capital, Jacob spent two seasons working on his family’s vineyard, growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for premium wine producers in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Jacob began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in Piper Jaffray’s Diversified Industrials Group in Charlotte, NC, where he focused on advising and representing privately-held businesses on sellside and buyside transactions. Jacob then moved to an Associate role at Saw Mill Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in Westchester, NY, where he worked on evaluating and executing potential portfolio company investments, as well as developing portfolio company growth strategies.
Jacob graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History.
